Dogging was known as a prodominantly British used term which originated nearly forty yrs ago, back in the 70\'s. The term dogging was used as a way to describe men watching couples having outdoor fun (often in cars). The general concensus it that the term was coined as men who were caught out dogging would use the excuse that they were simply out walking the dog (it is still a very good excuse today).
